Got a call again, some robot voice saying my account was about to be shut down. They told me to hit 1 if I wanted to talk to someone. I already suspected it was dodgy, but I pressed 1 anyway. The person on the line quickly started asking for my bank info. Hung up and blocked straight away!

Someone rang saying they were from BT OpenReach and claimed there was an issue with my line. I hadn't noticed any problems and definitely hadn’t called to report anything. They asked to link up with my computer, which sounded really dodgy, so I just told them no and ended the call straight away!

I got a call claiming to be from Talk Talk support saying my line would be cut off today and I needed to press 1 to avoid it. Seems like there’s a scam targeting Talk Talk users right now. Has anyone heard what Talk Talk are doing to deal with this?

They told me it was BT again, but kept hanging up on me halfway through.
