Got a call from 0185490313, some guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. He told me my broadband would be disconnected for 25 days unless I did exactly what he said. I informed him I use Virgin Fibre, and he said he was aware but Virgin's internet runs on BT cables anyway. Then he asked me to switch on my computer and enter an "activation code" to reactivate the copper line. I just left him waiting on the line while I made myself a bacon and egg sandwich, and then I hung up without a word.
