some guy with an asian accent called and said he was from the telephone preference service. sounded super fake and kinda far away. i just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman with a heavy asian accent saying that starting tomorrow they would put a stop to all the unsolicited calls to my phone. I just said thanks and ended the call. Bit odd- an unwanted call offering to block unwanted calls!

Got a call from 01854748426, sounded like an Asian woman. She asked for me by name but when I asked who she were, she just hung up straight away. Bit weird, don't you think? Normally if you ask who's calling they just say, but this time, nah.
