Picked up as it was from an Ullapool area code. They knew my name and postcode right away, said it was some survey. When I asked which company she was with, she just kept going. After a bit, she mentioned something about a 'Premium Card Department' but wouldn’t say which firm she was representing. Asked again and then she just cut me off. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

Got a call from Premium Card services, they mentioned my previous address and wanted me to confirm if I had a mortgage by asking two questions. I told them I wouldn’t answer as I never agreed to any marketing calls and asked to be taken off their list. The guy kept ignoring me, just repeating the same question over and over about the mortgage. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he just kept saying the same thing. Eventually, he hung up when I said no, I wasn’t going to answer.

I noticed if you just dont say anything when this number calls, it hangs up pretty quick, like under 10 seconds. Looks like a sales scam on autopilot. Once it picks up a voice, the recorded message kicks in. Best just to block it.

They actually called me by my name, even tho I never said it, I just asked who was calling. Said they were doing a survey then asked if I had a mortgage. Then just hung up. My phone is on the TPS list so I made a complaint.

Some bloke named David rang me from Premium Card Services and just kept yapping about life insurance without letting me get a word in. I asked if he knew about the telephone preference service, and he repeated his question like I didn’t say anything. I mentioned the TPS again, and then he just hung up on me. Bit suspicious, innit?

Had a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said her name was Ruby. Claimed she was ringing from the Postcode Lottery and that I'd won a 50% discount voucher for shopping and flights for me and my family. Obviously, she asked for my bank details! When I refused and told her it was a scam, she got really pushy and didn’t let me get a word in, kept saying Ruby, Ruby, Ruby (clearly not her real name) before just hanging up.
