I received a call from 01854537359 at about half past seven in the evening. Not recognising the number, I opted not to pick up. Upon further investigation, I discovered it had been marked as a potential scam. I wasted no time in blocking it right away.

Fraudulent call - They've rung me thrice and disconnected each time after I inquired about their identity and how they obtained my number. I've blocked them now. Quite amusingly, they’ve also managed to block my number so I can't return the call! Absolute numpties.

I received a rather unexpected phone call from someone who claimed to be an insurance agent interested in going over my life insurance policy. He mentioned he was conducting a comparison of different life insurance options. He went on about some "superior" deal he had up his sleeve, but I chose to decline his offer. I made it clear that I didn’t want any further calls from him.

So, I got a call from a bloke asking if I’ve got life insurance, he said he was from Ullapool, Scotland. I just hung up but then he rang me back again on the number 02035355974. Thing is, the caller ID showed a London number, which immediately made me suspicious. Pretty sure it was dodgy, a total scam if you ask me.

this number keeps ringing asking for someone called miss gourlay. i first got a call about 5 years back and blocked it straight away. recently cleared out my blocked list and now they’re back on the blower. i picked up this time just to see what’s going on, and i reckon i’ll be getting mad calls for miss gourlay now. no idea who she is or what they want, but i doubt she’s even real. such a pain honestly.

Received a call from an Indian call centre, and the chap on the other end spoke with a very pronounced Indian accent. Claimed to be from a company dealing with housing disrepair matters. Stated they were based in Manchester. When I requested their address and VAT registration number, he abruptly ended the call. Definitely feels like a scam. Steer clear of this one.

I've just had a rather dubious phone call from an individual who insisted they were representing a company collaborating with the government to provide complimentary boilers and heating systems. Right off the bat, I sensed something fishy about it and decided to entertain the conversation out of curiosity. They mentioned that eligibility hinged on receiving certain benefits. When I told them I wasn’t on any benefits, they politely wrapped up the call. Certainly seems like a scam!
