Beware, this is definitely a scam! I got a recorded call pretending to be BT warning that my broadband and internet would be cut off soon. The message said to press 1 to talk to someone or to wait on the line to be connected. Thanks to cloud based number porting, these scammers can pick any UK number to ring from, even if it looks local - you can’t actually trace where it’s coming from. Don’t be tricked by the area code; these calls come from fake cloud numbers. I highly doubt Ullapool has become a centre for global scammers!
