Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Microsoft Windows, saying my computer was infected with loads of viruses. Told him to jog on straight away. Funny enough, this all happened about 15-20 minutes after I switched off my antivirus and firewall to mess around with my network settings. Seriously, if you’re using a PC or Mac, make sure you have solid antivirus and firewall protection installed. These scammers track down your IP and then call you up pretending to help. Stay sharp, people, and don’t fall for it!

Got a call from some Indian lady claiming she's from an IT firm, saying my PC was infected with viruses and stuff. She kept going on about how I had to follow her steps to fix it. I asked her to put me on a do not call list and then she just ended the call. Strange!

At about 7:15 this morning, I got a call from some pushy ladies saying my computer would crash unless I updated some notifications they supposedly sent. Total rubbish - it’s just another dodgy computer scam! Don’t fall for it or give them any access. Best thing is just to hang up straight away.

Got a call from a lady who said she was with Windows support. She was really pushy and kept yelling at me. Even after I ended the call, she rang me back three times. Honestly, it felt like harassment, so I just dropped the phone straight away.

Got a call from some lady claiming to be from an 'IT security firm' or something. Kept going on about some Windows problem and how my PC was crashing. I got a call from a young lady speaking with an Indian accent, claiming she was from some IT security firm. I told her I actually work in IT myself and wasn’t buying it, then she just suddenly ended the call.
