I got a call from this number with a pre-recorded voice claiming I’d been involved in illegal internet activity. The message said to press certain keys and then tried to get personal details or money from me. What’s weird is that I got two more calls this week with similar messages, but from different numbers: 01877 771450 and 0500 235 290. My tip: don’t press anything on calls like this and never share your info with random callers. If you get these, report them on the Action Fraud website (just google Action Fraud) or ring 0300 123 2040.
