I got a recorded call saying “there’s an issue with your BT broadband, press 1 now”, I just ended the call straight away. Tried to report the number to BT via live chat, but it was a right hassle going in circles for about an hour. In the end, BT refused to do anything about blocking the 01851 466448 number, basically saying it’s my problem to stop the calls myself. Felt like they were just happy letting the scammers ring and maybe even making money from it. Honestly, BT’s attitude was worse than the scammer ringing from 01851 466448.
