Got a call from abroad with a recorded voice claiming to be BT’s technical team. They said there was some suspicious activity on my broadband and landline, and warned they’d disconnect my service. The message told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone who could sort it out. I didn’t press anything, obviously! It’s shocking these scammers are still out there, especially when people are already stressed because of the coronavirus situation. Really awful behaviour.
