Got a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk, saying my internet wasn’t working properly. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

I keep getting calls daily from a new number each time. They never leave a voicemail since their automated system can tell if it’s a real person or just an answering machine. It’s quite frustrating how the scammers are way ahead in tech compared to the officials who are supposed to stop this. If they just banned the sale of untraceable numbers, this mess would pretty much end. But sadly, it feels like no one in power bothers to act.
