Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying there was a problem with the line. My missus just hung up straight away.

So, my missus answered the phone and said it was from BT. I just hung up straight away since I don’t actually have a BT line or any account with them, figured it was dodgy anyway.

Got a call from what sounded like a busy call centre, said they were from BT. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call sayin my IP address got hacked and if I don’t press 1, all my devices will lose internet in a day. Felt fishy to me.

Just got a call saying my IP address has been compromised and they’re offering to fix it for free within 24 hours. They told me to press 1 to get it sorted. Sounds dodgy to me, doesn’t it? Definitely felt like a scam.

When i didnt answer, they just hung up on me. The number started with the area code for Thirsk, Scotland. I’m guessing it might be one of those annoying scams?
