I asked if that meant like Google or Yell, and they replied “yeah, we’re listed on Google and Bing”. Then they started checking if my business details were right - only a few bits were - and quickly tried to turn it into a sales pitch, mainly about SEO stuff. Honestly, best thing is to just let it ring and not answer!

When I probed a bit and mentioned Google or Yell, they nodded along and said, “Oh yes, we’re listed on Google and Bing.” Then they proceeded to grill me about the accuracy of my business details-turns out only part of it was correct. Their whole approach quickly morphed into a rather pushy sales pitch, with a heavy emphasis on SEO. If you ask me, it’s best to just ignore their calls!
