Been getting these annoying calls that only ring once and then stop, like today I had six missed calls at odd times like 12:12, 13:35, 13:36, 17:27, 17:28 and 18:27. No messages left or voicemails either. The numbers are similar too, something like 01845418896 and 01845418085, but I don’t recognise them at all. Everyone I know - friends, family, work - always leaves a message or texts, so it’s definitely not anyone I’m familiar with. I reckon it might be scammers. Ever since all those PPI claims and “accident compensation” adverts started popping up, my phone’s been flooded with random telesales calls. It’s really frustrating on both my landline and mobile, sometimes I even have to put the phone on silent just to get some peace, which isn’t great in case I miss something urgent. Honestly hope these callers have a conscience - what if I needed to be contacted quickly and they wasted the moment? Would be good if they stopped harassing people like this.
