there was a bit of silence then a guy with a strong accent asked for Mrs B - -. since he was sayin my name wrong i just told him he’d got the wrong number. it was around tea time too which always puts me on edge, so i didn't even bother askin who it was. figured it was probably one of those annoying sales calls or a scam.

This number showed up from somewhere around Thame, Oxfordshire. They rang but didn’t say anything and just hung up fast. These days, scammers keep calling but I never answer. I always have my answerphone switched on. If it’s something genuine, they’ll leave a message, otherwise I just ignore it as probably another scam.
