I found the caller's conduct rather unsettling and quite menacing. They exhibited a rather pushy attitude and seemed unable to grasp that I wasn't interested. To add to the annoyance, they promptly redialled as soon as I put the phone down!

It looks like I’ve come across a scammer pretending to be associated with Windows. They somehow managed to get hold of my name and then, in rather broken English, insisted that there was an issue with my Windows system. When I mentioned I was on a Mac, that put an abrupt end to the whole charade!
