6 yearsI got one of those dodgy calls with a robotic voice claiming my Amazon Prime was about to renew for £79.99 and I had to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. I hit 1, then spent about 15 minutes messing around with whoever was on the other end, just keeping them tied up. Eventually, I told him I was bored and just wasting his time so he couldn’t con anyone else. As you’d expect, he hung up straight away. Still, for 15 minutes he wasn’t scamming anyone else or making money.
