This is probably the very first time I’ve got one of these calls, and honestly, I’m fed up with constantly having to block these annoying numbers. People who think it’s okay to ring at all times, morning, night, whatever, really get on my nerves. With a 7-month-old baby keeping me up already, I really don’t need this kind of stress. The phone rang and I took the plunge, saying, "Just so you’re aware, this conversation is being recorded for legal reasons. Since you've interrupted my working hours, let’s establish that if you wish to talk to me directly, there will be a fee of £5.00 per minute for your time-wasting antics. Should you want to proceed, kindly respond now." They promptly ended the call - typical telemarketer behaviour!

I got a ring, so I decided to jump in first saying something like, "Just so you know, this call's being recorded for legal reasons.
