I keep getting incessant calls from these folks, and it's always some pre-recorded message from a character named El. They say that if I’m not interested in receiving any more calls, I should press 1. However, they just won't take the hint and persist in calling me! They seem to think I’ve been involved in a car accident or something. What on earth can I do to make them stop?

i keep getting calls from this number almost every week. ive picked up a few times but say nothing and they just hang up straight away. its really annoying, bit intrusive to be honest. the only reason i pick up is because ive loads of appointments lined up so wanted to check if it was important.

I picked up and right away they called me by my name, then as soon as they asked if it was me, they just dropped the call.
