Got a call claiming to be from my bank’s security about some dodgy charges. They said two suspicious transactions showed up and asked me to confirm. I ended the call straight away though. Curious, I looked up the number and it matched my own area code which made me think it could’ve been legit. However, when I later rang my bank, they said no such payments had happened on my account. Pretty suspicious if you ask me!
