got a call from some robotic voice sayin my internet was in trouble and be shutting down soon, said to hit 1 to chat with a tech. wasnt even gonna guess my provider. seriously, dont press 1, they'll want info you shouldnt ever share on a call.

Got a call from this number earlier today, at about 10:03. The voice claimed my internet service provider's address got hacked and told me to press 1 to chat with a tech guy. Seemed fishy since they didn't even say which ISP they meant. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 01842 878435 at around 10:33 am on Wednesday 24th October 2018. I didn’t get to pick up because my voicemail kicked in, then they just hung up straight away.

Got a call claiming my IP had been hacked across multiple countries and that my internet would be cut off in two days unless I pressed 1. I just ended the call there, but I reckon their next move was to hack into my computer under the guise of ‘fixing the IP’, likely installing some sort of malware as well.

Just like what others have said, I got one of those automated calls saying my IP address was gonna be cut off in a day unless I hit 1 to talk to some technician. Didn’t press anything, definitely another dodgy scam trying to fool people.
