At about 7:30 in the morning, I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was from BT Openreach and said they were going to disconnect my internet. I told him straight up that I’m not even a BT customer and asked if he realised how early it was. After that, he just dropped the call!

I keep receiving calls from this number multiple times a day, usually two or three times in the morning. They never bother to leave a message. Quite annoying, really!

This number has called me three times today already. On the last call, an Indian guy picked up and kept just saying "hello" over and over. I ended up telling him off pretty rudely and told him outright that it’s a scam. Totally annoying.

Got another call at 08:52 today. To my surprise, someone actually picked up. The guy spoke with a thick Asian accent, couldn’t catch his name though. He said he was from BT’s Tech Department. I quickly told him he was lying and ended the call. If I’d had extra time, I’d of kept him on the line for a bit just to waste their time and cash!

I picked up the phone, but as soon as I did, they hung up straight away. Seeing what others have shared here, it’s clear this is some sort of scam that might mess with your computer. Definitely best to steer clear.

Got a call from some bloke with a thick accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. He told me my IP had been hacked and I was at risk. He tried to get me to log onto the internet immediately so he could fix it. I said I wasn’t interested, and he said he’d cut off my internet. I just told him that was perfectly alright with me!

Got a ring from a bloke called 'Kevin Williams' with a thick Indian accent, claiming to be from BT Openreach saying there was an issue with our internet. I told him straight up that BT Openreach don't get in touch like that, said cheers and put the phone down. These calls are such a pain, really frustrating having your day messed about by them. Wish there was a way to stop these annoying calls for good.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent early Saturday at about 8:09 am. He claimed to be from BT internet and said there was a serious virus on my computer. I told him I didn’t even have internet, but he kept going on like I did. I just ended the call after that.

Got a call from some bloke named ‘Sandy’ this evening at about 8.00pm, saying my internet was about to drop out. It’s odd because I’ve already put my number on the Telephone Preference Service to block junk calls. How on earth are they still managing to reach me? Absolutely baffling!

I've been receiving calls from this number for a while now, but today they've really ramped it up with two calls! The first one came in at 7:50 this morning - far too early for my liking! There's also another recurring international number that keeps bothering me; I'm not inclined to pick up from them either. It's all rather irritating, especially for someone of my age!

Got a call from someone saying he was Sandy, sounded Asian with a strong accent. Said he was with BT Openreach and that my internet was hacked and they’d cut it off soon. Asked if my router was switched on, and when I said no, he replied, “how can I fix it then?” Told him I wasn’t buying it, refused to give any access, and ended the call. Same number rang me again after about 30 minutes but I let it go to voicemail - no message left.

Been getting calls pretty early in the morning, like around 7.40, 7.48, and 7.56. I usually just let it go to the ansaphone on my landline, which honestly cuts down on a lot of those scam calls. It’s still really frustrating though, especially when I’m feeling unwell and having my sleep messed up so early. Seems like the callers are from overseas, cause they don’t seem to care about what time it is here.

I got a call from this number, but it was one of those scammers faking it. When I rang back, a really polite English man answered, saying he’s been getting loads of calls too and that there’s some kind of mix up with BT’s lines. Quite a weird situation!

Got a call from a bloke with a pretty heavy Asian accent saying he was from BT Openreach. He tried telling me that my internet was getting hacked and asked me to confirm my IP address. I just said cheers, that I’d get in touch with BT directly, then ended the call. Definitely a scam, be careful!

Got a call from someone with a heavy Indian accent, said his name was James and that he was ringing from BT. He gave an address in some city he mentioned, but I checked and that place isn't real. Definitely looked like a scam. Took a bit of effort, but I finally got him to end the call.

Got a call this morning at about 7.45am from someone saying they were with BT Openreach. They claimed my internet was being used by people from other countries without permission and said it would be disconnected in 24 hours. They advised me to check with my internet supplier, which isn't BT, and when I did, they said they hadn’t heard anything about it. This is the second time they've rung me; I ended the call quickly the first time. Luckily, my internet’s still working fine!

Just got a call at 8:43 in the morning from some bloke called Nigel, sounded like he had a thick Asian accent. He was saying he was from BT Openreach and that our IP was hacked, needed us to confirm our IP address ASAP. This number rang me before too, same time last Saturday and then again on Wednesday. When I said we don't even have BT, he went quiet for a sec and then said “wait 24 hours and see what happens.” I rang back the number and sure enough, the same guy answered. Complete scam, heads up everyone!

I ignored the call as it came through at 7.47am on a Saturday! The same number rang at the exact time the week before too. I tried ringing them back and left a voicemail asking them to take me off their call list. These unwanted calls are so frustrating. Because of this, I don't even bother answering my landline anymore.
