Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying they need full access to my computer to fix some issue. It started with a recorded message, then an operator with an Indian accent came on. It’s quite amusing, unless you’re not so tech-savvy and they actually trick you. I’m planning to call BT myself and warn them about this scam. If anyone falls for this after 18.02.19, they should hold BT responsible and seek compensation. I’m asking BT to block that number straight away.
