I received a recorded message claiming to be from BT, warning me that they were about to disconnect my landline and internet for some unknown reason. Clearly, it was a scam and not genuine BT at all.

Got a voicemail claiming it was from BT warning my phone and internet would be disconnected the next day. The accent was spot on British, could easily trick older folks. Rang BT directly, and they confirmed it's a scam, so I've blocked the number now.
