I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from Nationwide Bank. I genuinely believe this might be a fraudulent scheme! Just a heads up, everyone!

They ring up saying you’re owed a PPI refund and act like they’ve got your bank details or something. They even start quoting your address from the electoral register. It’s a total scam, don’t fall for it.

They rang me, I answered and then hung up. I tried calling back with my number hidden but just got their voicemail saying the line was busy. Then it ended the call, maybe 'cause I hid my number. Blocked them straight away.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Nationwide, but I don't even have an account with them. I told him he was full of it and then he just ended the call. Pretty obvious bank scam if you ask me.
