I had a terrible experience with the guy at this number, Lewis Brown from Brown-group roofing. He wrecked part of our roof and then flat out refused to refund us. If you don’t want to waste money fixing his mess, I’d seriously avoid using him. We ended up out of pocket by more than £6000 and apparently, Trading Standards have a whole list of people who’ve been let down by him. Proper dodgy trader, watch out!

Beware of this number, it’s linked to a roofing and plumbing company called Brown Group in North Devon, but actually it’s just one guy named Lewis Brown behind it all. Their website looks proper professional, but the work they did on our property was shockingly bad. We had three trusted firms inspect it, and all agreed it’s some of the worst they’ve ever seen. Don’t hand over any money until you’re absolutely sure the job’s been done right. We ended up losing thousands and now have to fork out again to strip out all the rubbish they left and have everything redone.
