I received a call from someone who claimed to be representing what sounded like RF Legal or RD Legal, regarding a car accident I apparently had. They had my full name, knew the type of vehicle I drive, and obviously, they managed to get hold of my home phone number. It seems clear to me that my private details have been shared by a third party-possibly an insurance firm I’ve recently dealt with. The number appeared local-01835-which was why I picked up in the first place. However, when I phoned the number back, I was met with a recorded message stating, "You were contacted today by L1. If you wish to opt out of further calls, please press 1."
