i got in touch with bt about this number. as soon as you pick up, an automated voice says they’re ending your landline and internet service. then it tells you to "press 1" for options. before i could respond, the call dropped. british telecom told me this is a total scam and lots of people have reported it already. they have now blocked the number so it can’t ring me back. i reckon this number could really upset older folks or vulnerable people, so i’ve flagged it as harmful.
