I received a rather peculiar call from someone who insisted he had details about a car crash I supposedly had, which apparently wasn't my doing. He went on about assisting individuals in obtaining insurance payouts. Honestly, I suspect this could be a scam call.

On Saturday night, this number rang my 94-year-old mum while I was out. When I got back, she was visibly upset and trembling because they had made her believe I’d been in a crash and wasn’t coming back. It’s still troubling her now, even on Monday. I tried ringing the number but got an answerphone saying the mailbox is full. This sort of thing really should be put an end to.

Got a call from this number this evening (Saturday) asking me about a car accident I supposedly had where someone crashed into my vehicle. I told them no such thing had happened, and then they just hung up. I’m on the TPS list, but obviously that doesn’t stop them. Seriously, who do these people think they are, ringing me up on a Saturday night or anytime really? It’s really annoying.
