I received a call today featuring an American woman's voice claiming to be from Amazon. I ended the call immediately, as I've encountered enough of these scams to recognise them. For one, Amazon has no way of knowing my landline number, which raises a huge red flag for me. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call from a woman with an American accent claiming she was from Amazon, but it was just a recorded message. As soon as I realised, I ended the call immediately. Since my landline isn’t linked to Amazon in any way, it’s obviously a scam.
