I received a dodgy call earlier today from a number claiming to be BT, insisting that my broadband and landline would be cut off this afternoon! I was connected to someone, but as soon as I recognised it was an Indian call centre, I promptly hung up. BT has warned me on a couple of occasions in the last year that they would never make such calls, advising instead to disregard these types of communications as spam.
