I received a call today from someone with a very noticeable accent from the Far East. It seemed like they were using some sort of dialler, as there was a noticeable delay of about five seconds before the line connected after I answered. When I inquired about their identity, the caller wouldn’t divulge who they were but insisted, "I'm not trying to sell anything today." When I pressed for more information, they abruptly hung up. I checked the number using 1471, but I haven't tried to return the call.
