I received a rather chaotic call from someone claiming to be from N Power, and it was incredibly loud in the background - definitely a call centre situation. They were inquiring about our gas and electric meters, stating there was some sort of issue that required me to verify our meter details. When they sought information regarding the gas meter, I pointed out that we don’t use N Power for gas services and pressed them on their identity. At that point, they abruptly cut off the call. I'd advise exercising caution before dishing out any personal details, as this felt distinctly dodgy.

They kept nagging me for details about my electricity and gas meters. When I asked who exactly they were, they just cut the call. Best to stay well clear of them, honestly.
