I don’t usually pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and this was no different. I always look up unknown numbers before deciding whether to call back, and I’m really glad I did with this one.

This number rang me at 10:37 this morning, but since it wasn’t saved in my contacts and I’ve never heard of anyone from 'Clopton', I decided not to pick up. After checking out the reviews here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

Some bloke rang up saying he was an energy advisor from around here. I told him no thanks and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away. It’s not the first time I’ve had these scams, and honestly, I’m fed up of blocking one number after another because they just keep ringing from new ones.

A chap rang me claiming to be an energy advisor from around the corner, insisting he was here to offer a complimentary inspection of my loft. Oddly, his voice had that robotic ring to it, almost like it was pre-recorded. Quite peculiar, I must say!

The voice came across all robotic, sounded like it was recorded. He said he worked as a local energy consultant.

Yesterday I had a call from a different number, no voicemail left on my answerphone which made me think it wasnt legit. These calls keep coming non stop and it’s getting really annoying. I block the number and then the next day they call again from somewhere else, clearly they’re using some sort of robo system. I blocked it again but I’m pretty sure they’ll try again with a new number tomorrow. There’s just way too many of these scams going round nowadays.
