I've been receiving calls on my mobile from this number quite frequently for a while now. I've chosen not to pick up, as I tend to ignore any calls from unfamiliar digits. Ever since I requested a quote through an online insurance comparison platform, I've been inundated with calls from this and a few other numbers. I certainly won't be using that site again!

I picked up the call but didn't say a word – it’s clear that a lot of these calls are pre-recorded and then routed to an operator when they detect sound, like when you say “hello”. The line was just dead; I held my tongue, and after 33 seconds of awkward silence, the call dropped.

I received a call from 01832372063, and it was an Indian bloke claiming to be from the BBC. He started trying to coax me into something, saying he was injured. I couldn't help but point out that it seemed rather more likely that he was the one in need of assistance!

Had a jolly annoying call from someone claiming to be from the BBC. All I said was ‘do one’ before hanging up. I’m absolutely fed up with these nuisance calls! That's all there is to it!

Blimey, there’s really no need to get flustered and resort to swearing! Hanging up on someone isn’t really the solution, is it? Just take a breath, try to keep a positive attitude, and remember that kindness goes a long way. It’s rather straightforward when you think about it, don’t you think?
