This guy said he was calling from some appliance insurance company in Luton, but when I asked for their exact address, he refused to tell me. He tried to sell me a TV cover, claiming a discount from £12 down to £6, even though I don’t have any warranty on my telly. Honestly, it felt like a total rip-off. I told him that if he gave me the office address, I’d come by and pay face-to-face. That’s when he started asking where I lived, which seemed super dodgy. This whole thing reeks of a scam and the person behind it should be stopped and punished.
