I received a rather robotic call today purporting to be from Amazon, chatting about a renewal for a Prime subscription. Quite bewildering since I've never signed up for Prime! Honestly, it all seemed a bit dodgy to me; my hunch is that this was just a bunch of scammers trying to pull a fast one.

This number rang me again on Thursday morning around 8:24am, 4th June 2020. It’s the second call from them, looks like a scam so I just didn’t bother answering.

Got a call with this weird robotic tone saying they were from Amazon Prime or something like that. Sounded so fake, definitely a scam. Be careful if you get the same type of call!

I got a call from a guy with a really strong Indian accent, said his name was "Kevin Peters" and claimed to be from Amazon Prime. The moment I mentioned I was going to jot down some details from our chat, he just ended the call straight away.
