I got a call from someone claiming to be my internet company, but it definitely wasn’t them. I’d already contacted my actual provider a few days earlier because I kept getting automated messages saying there was an issue with my internet, supposedly from BT. Over the last couple of days, the phone rang and a person answered, repeating the same thing as the recorded message. When I asked who they were, all they said was it was about my internet. Sounded really fishy to me.
