I received a call from a lady with an Asian accent, and it took ages for the line to properly connect, suggesting it was a long-distance call from the East. At first, I was greeted by a pre-recorded message regarding my Amazon Prime account, which I found quite puzzling as I don’t have one! As I probed a bit with some rather uncomfortable questions, the caller suddenly hung up on me. It’s clear this was some dodgy scam attempt.
