I've been inundated with incessant scam calls lately. These pesky callers just won't take a hint! It's high time something was done to put an end to this annoyance.

This number has called us loads of times, often multiple times each day. Occasionally they claim to be from Talk Talk, but other times when we pick up, there's just silence. The calls seem to come from Tarporley, Cheshire. We always hang up straight away. My husband even tries answering in Welsh sometimes!

Got a call from this number claiming to be BT support about my internet. When I told them I didn’t think it was legit, they got really pushy. Couldn't stop noticing the strong Indian accent, but then he goes and says his name was John Smith. Yeah, right! Total scam.

Got a call from someone called “David” who spoke with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Talktalk. The chat ended pretty rough when he called me a b#####d. Lovely!

I received a call claiming to be from Talk Talk. When I inquired about their offerings, I was met with a load of mumbo jumbo before the line went dead. The background was a cacophony of voices, typical of a bustling call centre.

I rang TalkTalk to check and they said it was a scam call. Apparently, TalkTalk never phone out unless it’s been agreed beforehand. The caller will try to get you to download some sort of software so they can get into your laptop. It all seems pretty legit at first. They’ll say your router’s out of date and offer you a £200 refund, but that’s just to trick you into giving your account info. Don’t fall for it, just hang up and call TalkTalk directly to be sure.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, saying he was from Talk Talk. He said my internet was patchy and kept cutting out. He asked me to reboot my router and then tell him which lights were flashing. When I did, he said something like "You're too lovely to be a fraud" before just hanging up on me. I asked for a contact number and then the call just dropped. Luckily, I got the number from my call history, rang TalkTalk’s support team and reported it. They put the number through their system and started looking into it. If they find anything dodgy, they’ll block that number from ringing any TalkTalk user. Fingers crossed it won’t bother anyone again.

Strangely enough, one occasion even identified itself as a Sky voicemail, so I've reached out to Sky to make them aware of this scammer misusing their number. It's enough to drive anyone mad! The perpetrators? Clearly, they're just Talk Talk con artists.
