I got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, telling me a £399 iPhone had been bought on my account. I immediately suspected it was a con. They tried asking if I had an iPhone, Android or a laptop. I just hung up and got in touch with Amazon directly, and they told me it’s a well-known scam. Stay alert, folks!
