Got a call at 11:58, second one this week from this area code. Different phone number from before but the script was exactly alike. A woman was saying it was a bank security alert about a £900 charge on my Visa and asked me to press 1 to verify it. I told her to quit messing about and she just hung up. Looked up the number using 1572 and have now blocked it. Absolutely a scam, no doubt about it!
