This particular recorded message was a bit of a twist, as it suggested I could speak to an engineer by pressing one. Naturally, I ended the call immediately. It seems like yet another scam attempt masquerading as a call from our internet service provider, TalkTalk. Not too long ago, there was a data breach where TalkTalk misplaced some customer information, and previous calls have even referenced our account details.
