I picked up and there was complete silence, no one spoke, just that usual annoying solicitor or some spam call who ended up hanging up on me.

At our company, we get loads of random calls claiming to be from British Gas, asking to speak with the owner about the account. But this one stood out as the worst by far. The bloke on the phone had a thick accent and struggled with his English. When I asked where exactly he was calling from, he insisted it was British Gas. I then asked where their office was, and to my surprise, he just told me to bugger off - lovely attitude. Seriously, can someone in the UK please step up and put a stop to these dodgy calls from overseas? It’s getting completely out of hand.
