I picked up, but the line went completely silent – just a 1572 number. How odd!

Upon picking up, there was a brief moment of complete gibberish echoing in the background, and then the line went silent. Definitely a sign of some robotic system at play!

I received a phone call from a woman who claimed to be affiliated with some UK health organisation, supposedly conducting research. When I inquired about a reference number for the study, she admitted she didn’t have one. That was enough for me to wrap up the conversation.

I didn't recognise the number, so I chose not to pick up the call. They didn't leave a voicemail, which is a bit odd. I’ve looked it up on here and I’ve decided to add the number to my block list now.

Received a call from 01827894267 around half six this evening. I tend to avoid answering calls from unfamiliar numbers until I've had a chance to verify who might be trying to reach me.

I received a call from what they alleged was the UK healthcare research team, but it came from an Asian call centre. It had all the hallmarks of a typical scam, so I decided to terminate the call.
