How bizarre is that?12 yearsI got a rather dodgy call from this number earlier today, claiming they needed to access my computer. Apparently, every time I try sending an email or browsing the web, I'm inadvertently downloading all sorts of rubbish that’s bogging my PC down and causing all sorts of hassle. This marks the second time I've been contacted; my other half fielded the first call. When I quizzed her on how they’d managed to acquire my information, she claimed they obtained it from the company I bought my PC from, and that they were supposedly acting on behalf of both Microsoft and MAC! Long story short, I led her on a merry dance before firmly telling her to wipe my details from their records (perhaps a bit more colourfully than necessary!). To my surprise, she promptly hung up. Not ten minutes later, I got another call from her! It was rather amusing as she mistakenly called me Michelle!
