Got a call from someone calling himself "Mark" from "UK Preference". They were trying to push some bogus nuisance call blocking service. The funny thing is, they're using annoying calls themselves to sell it - guess they don’t see the irony in that!

So, I got a call from someone named Jordan claiming to be from UK Preference. He wanted me to go through about 12 or 13 questions. I was actually poorly and fast asleep when he rang. When I told him he’d disturbed my sleep, he just hung up on me. What’s a bit fishy is that he was using a local phone number to ring.
