I've flagged this matter to the company that seems to be leasing the number (Magrathea Telecommunications Limited). Fingers crossed they take action to put an end to these con artists!

Received a call from a dubious individual with a strong Indian accent – they seemed to know my surname, yet promptly ended the call when I inquired about the first name of the person they were trying to reach. Classic scammer behaviour, if you ask me.

Not entirely sure, but I declined the call as my phone had it marked as blocked.

When I was questioned about my vaccinations, I got an odd vibe from the caller. So, I mentioned that such matters were private between me and my doctor. He cut the conversation short before I could tell him to jog on. Absolutely a scam artist, no doubt about it!

Received a call at 09:08 this morning from a number I didn’t recognise. It was 01827 816392 from Tamworth, and since I wasn’t familiar with it, I decided not to pick up. They called my mobile.

I had a chat with a chap named Arun from the local health department, and let’s just say he didn’t leave a splendid impression. I’d recommend you follow suit and tell him where to shove it!

I've received my third call in the past three days from a company named Magrathea Telecommunications Limited, which I've never encountered before. I happened to miss the call since I was upstairs at the time. I don’t recognise anyone from Tamworth, so I decided to investigate here, and, surprise surprise, it's yet another scam. I've blocked this one as well!

Received a call from someone purporting to be with the Health Department, apparently regarding life and health insurance matters. Curiously, they referenced the former occupant of my house, which was a bit odd. When I chuckled at their claims, they promptly ended the call. The chap had an Indian accent, which added to the peculiar nature of the conversation.

I always turn to this site whenever I come across a number I don’t recognise. I’ve now gone ahead and removed it and blocked it as well!

I received a call from this number at precisely 16:03. When I inquired about the purpose of their call, as I was rather preoccupied, they rather rudely told me to shove off before abruptly disconnecting. Quite cheeky, if you ask me!

A chap rang me at 17:43, stating he was representing the Department of Health and Social Care. However, the number he used doesn’t appear to belong to any official government line. In fact, it seems to be based overseas or somehow associated with an international location. I decided to cut the conversation short and would highly recommend others do the same.

I received a call from a gentleman in an Indian call centre, claiming to represent Car Phone Warehouse.

I missed the call, so I decided to ring 1471 to check who it was.

I decided to ring the number back, and a chap on the other end claimed he was representing Debt Charity Solution. When I inquired about the purpose of his call, he abruptly cut the conversation short and disconnected. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I missed the call because my phone was muted, but out of curiosity, I later looked into the number as it was unfamiliar. I'm rather pleased I did, as it turns out it’s from someone I’d rather not engage with.
