Got a call from someone who knew my name. When I asked what they wanted, they said they were from BT and asked if I'd been fiddling with my internet settings. I just replied 'no' without much interest, and then they just dropped the call. Problem is, I don’t even have BT or any broadband with them. Plus, I’m signed up with the TPS, so shouldn’t be getting these calls. Sounds like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone claiming I might qualify for something I'd never come across before. Then they asked if I was over 50. When I asked them who they were, they just hung up on me. Bit fishy if you ask me!

I realised I made a mistake in my last comment. The number I mentioned belongs to a mate, and it wasn’t the one linked to the call I was talking about. The right number is 01226666710, which is connected to a dodgy medical scam.
