Had a call from an unknown number, and it turned out to be one of those pesky unsolicited calls. Quite annoying, to say the least!

Didn’t recognise this number on BT Call Guardian – I can only deduce it’s either a scammer or some call centre. I've gone ahead and blocked it.

The number 01827310301 gave me a bell for the first time in ages on Sunday, looking for someone called Mr Thorpe. I informed this chap, who sounded a bit foreign, that I’m not Mr Thorpe and requested he refrain from calling this number again, but it seems that didn’t sink in from our previous chats. I reckon next time I might just tell him to shove off!

Received an eerily quiet call at 11:39 this morning.

I've received four calls today from this number, but there was nobody on the other end each time. Quite eerie, really!

Someone called me and mentioned my name. It sounded like they had an Asian accent, but as soon as I began rambling, they cut the call. Quite peculiar, really!

Yet another annoying and unwelcome phone call! Do these folks not realise? The likelihood of us actually making a purchase from a random caller is about as likely as being hit by lightning twice in one day right after clinching the lottery win! I've had enough and they've been promptly blocked.

I answered my phone after just a single ring, only to find they had already disconnected. It feels rather futile and incredibly frustrating! It's quite curious, especially considering there's supposedly a crackdown on unsolicited calls. Yet, in not much more than a year, I've reached my maximum of 100 blocked numbers!

Nuisance call - I requested to be removed from their list of callers and was met with a rather rude inquiry as to why. I explained that I was fed up with these unwanted disturbances. Again, I insisted on being taken off the list, only to be informed by a chap claiming to be 'Daniel' that they disregarded GDPR regulations and had no intention of removing my number. I've since blocked the number.

Received a number of calls from Eon today, but I’m no longer a customer of theirs – thus, I’ve blocked the number. I found it rather difficult to grasp what he was going on about, so I politely declined and ended the call.

There was a bit of a pause, and then a chap chimed in, his voice quite rapid. He uttered something that sounded like "please," but I missed the rest of what he said due to his speed. Just as I was about to respond, the line went dead!

An Asian chap rang me up earlier, claiming to be from an energy company, offering lower rates. I struggled to grasp what he was saying, but managed to say, "Cheers, but I’ve just switched suppliers." Not quite the truth, but what can you do? I’m absolutely fed up with these nuisance calls!

They called out my name but when I inquired about their company, the line dropped abruptly. The caller sounded like they might have been from India or somewhere similar. Quite curious, to say the least!

Received a call the other day where the person on the line directly mentioned my name. However, when I inquired about which company he represented, he abruptly disconnected the call. His accent seemed to suggest he was possibly from South Asia, likely Indian. Quite odd, really.

I'm absolutely exasperated with receiving calls of this nature!

When I picked up the phone, there was no one on the line. My mobile indicated that the call originated from Tamworth.

They attempted to pose three inquiries, but I informed them I was busy at work. Subsequently, I decided to block them.
